Oktak

I decided to blog about one of my favorite shop's, not just because she has great handbag's and pouches but because she Is a fantastic person. It all started when Etsy contacted me about writing a story for the storque about being a Caregiver and being able to craft and sell from my home. Titled, Gingeroni1 works for Caregiver rights. http://www.etsy.com/storque/craftivism/gingeroni1-works-for-caregivers-rights-543/ . On the first day the article came out I was contacted by oktak saying that she wanted to send me one of her pouches as a gift, I thought to myself what a wonderful caring human being. She told me that I could do what ever I wanted to with It. I could keep it or use It as a gift. I received many emails about that article word's of encouragement and praise but the generosity of this shop really stood out to me. I told myself If I ever started really selling my pieces on Etsy I would purchase two of her pouches for my sisters for their birthdays and so I did. Both of my sisters loved their pouches.

Since then the Caregiver bill has not passed although It was reintroduced last year but sadly was thrown out In the House because parts of the Bill needed to be revised. Senator Koehler has reintroduced the bill again this year and as of yesterday the Bill Is moving very quickly through all the proper channel's and we are hopeful that this time It will pass.

Thank you oktak. I truly appreciated your kindness and generosity. Have a wonderful day,
Kathi
