Crabtree & Evelyn

So, today I thought I would share with you one of the thing's I simply can not do with out and that Is Hand Therapy by Crabtree & Evelyn as a full time caregiver for Mr.K I wash my hand's probably more than the average person so of course they get terribly dry. So a couple times through out the day and right before bed time I pamper my hand's with these fabulous lotion's.
In the deep winter month's I use Le Source intensive hand recovery treatment cleanses, exfoliates and moisturizes with a blend of sea salt, algae, shea butter and lavender oil. Your hands will feel noticeably softer and smoother immediately. Then I switch to Summer Hill It smells wonderful, white floral blend of summer grasses, wildflowers and orchard fruits, this I use a lot and after gardening I use Gardeners hand recovery therapy. Crabtree & Evelyn Is available online or perhaps your favorite boutique. Pick some up today your hand's will definitely thank you for It. Enjoy your week end.

New Packaging Has Arrived

So right after Christmas I started thinking about what I wanted my new packaging to look like. I knew I wanted to Incorporate my love of bird's, bird nest and vintage. So I am please to Introduce to you, Vintage Inspired Jewelry's new packaging. The boxes are great, they are nice and deep with little finger cut outs on the side. Inside the box Is Ivory colored wood shred for the bird's nest and of course I had to have my little Wren on the front. I am thrilled at the way they turned out.

I am hoping to list a few thing's this evening In my shop. Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday, friend's.

Yeah The Sun Is Out !

Finally we have some sunshine. I've been In my studio just creating away and have a number of new pieces to show you and list In my shop but I haven't been able to do any photo's because of the lack of sunshine. The natural sunshine just makes a picture pop. Here are a few new pieces that I will be listing this afternoon. Both are created with vintage bead's. I have a very limited stock of these bead's. I love the uniqueness of vintage bead's because you know that not everyone will be wearing your earrings, which makes them even more special. Hope you are enjoying your week end. Have a wonderful day,

Oktak

I decided to blog about one of my favorite shop's, not just because she has great handbag's and pouches but because she Is a fantastic person. It all started when Etsy contacted me about writing a story for the storque about being a Caregiver and being able to craft and sell from my home. Titled, Gingeroni1 works for Caregiver rights. http://www.etsy.com/storque/craftivism/gingeroni1-works-for-caregivers-rights-543/ . On the first day the article came out I was contacted by oktak saying that she wanted to send me one of her pouches as a gift, I thought to myself what a wonderful caring human being. She told me that I could do what ever I wanted to with It. I could keep it or use It as a gift. I received many emails about that article word's of encouragement and praise but the generosity of this shop really stood out to me. I told myself If I ever started really selling my pieces on Etsy I would purchase two of her pouches for my sisters for their birthdays and so I did. Both of my sisters loved their pouches.

Since then the Caregiver bill has not passed although It was reintroduced last year but sadly was thrown out In the House because parts of the Bill needed to be revised. Senator Koehler has reintroduced the bill again this year and as of yesterday the Bill Is moving very quickly through all the proper channel's and we are hopeful that this time It will pass.

Thank you oktak. I truly appreciated your kindness and generosity. Have a wonderful day,

Vintage Cotton Pearl's

I ran across these beautiful vintage cotton pearls and thought how Interesting. These are actually made of compressed cotton and then coated with a luminous ivory pearl finish! This process produces a very solid and rock hard pearl bead that is light as a feather! Rare beauties indeed! Made in Japan in the 1940’s. These faux cotton pearls are very sturdy under normal wear, however, they are not water proof. They make a great statement don't you think. I dressed this pair of 8mm pearl's with an antique brass foliage bead cap and placed them on a vintage ear wire. I will be listing these earrings In the next couple of day's In my shop. Enjoy your Wednesday.

Don't you just wish just once you could be like Bewitch and wiggle your nose and thing's would just get done, wouldn't that be great. I'm off to start organizing. See you tomorrow. Have a fabulous day.
