This straight from ( the real blogger status )
This week, we're seeing a large number of reports of missing Followers, and / or the Followers gadget not showing up on various blogs. The reports don't include a lot of detail, though.
A number of people have left a comment on that post about this problem. Seems they are aware of It and working on It. I will follow the progress and update If there are any new finding's.

For several days, my followers disappeared and then one day..POOF! They were back. Here's hoping yours gets resolved quickly. Have a beautiful weekend and the same to Mr K!!
Mine are back this evening. I am working on my blog and the format and I thought I had done something. I still can't get some of the sidebars to show. Who knows what I have done. Have a great weekend. If you have any idea how to get my profile information to show, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

Kathi, I am to new to understand. But today I noticed I lost one, I wondered why? Do they leave and take their name off? Oh, sorry but I do not understand how it all works. I am trying to blog, that is hard enough. Have a good weekend. Sandi
My followers are gone...I thought everyone decided to leave me...not one of my better moments.
I looked at other blogs and realized that others were without followers and felt a little better.
I hope it will be back soon.

It says I have 123 followers on my dashboard, but they have all POOFED...VANISHED on my blog...hope they all come back soon! LOL
