Rain, the details

Well we did survive the concert last night and had a great time. I'm telling you, If you didn't know any better you would think these guys were the Beatles. They sound just like them. The concert started out with one of the very first song's the Beatles ever sang and that was "Help" The concert took you through the life of the Beatles. They did four costume changes of how they changed over the year's. Dennis really enjoyed himself and I did too.

Today will be a quiet day maybe watching movies or taking photos of some pieces I need to list, the only thing Is the sun Isn't out. It's really hard to take good photos without natural sunlight. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. See you tomorrow.

Rain

Dennis and I will be going to the "Rain" concert tomorrow night which Is the Beatles tribute band. Dennis Is a huge Beatles fan. We received two tickets as a gift for our anniversary which was In October. So today I will be getting ready for that. We rarely go out this time of year with Dennis being on the Ventilator. It's not that I don't want to take him out It's just that there are so many germs and anyone that knows be knows I HATE GERMS !! In the winter months we are pretty much on lock down because I let very few people In our home. So to go to this concert In February Is huge. The good news Is the temperature tomorrow Is going to be 49 yippee !!
The concert starts at 8:00pm which In It's self Is late for us but sometimes you just need to step outside the routine. I have had to structure our life's so much In order to care for Dennis. So tomorrow I will have a full report on the night's festivities.

KitchenAid

So, I got a KitchenAid artisan mixer for Christmas from my Mom. I know, what a great gift. I've been looking everywhere for a mixer cover and just couldn't seem to fine one that I liked. I decided to look on Etsy. I came across everythingscovered shop.

This Is the cover that I purchased. When I received It I was so Impressed with the craftsmanship. The cover was nice and sturdy not like some of the ones you find In the stores and It fit's perfectly. It even has a pocket on the side to put your favorite recipes or utensil. It was very reasonably priced at only $20.00 with $2.00 shipping. You also get your choice of appliques.

Thank you everythingscoverd for creating such an awesome mixer cover. My KitchenAid loves It and so do I.

The Unveiling

These are some photo's of my newly painted studio.
This space was an unfinished attic that my husband finished about twelve years ago.

Here Is a piece that I use for my profile In my Etsy shop There are a few of you that know my Husband was diagnosed In 1999 with Lou Gerhig's Disease. This pretty much sums It Up.

For me Creating Is a way for me to nurture and rejuvenate my spirit. As a Caregiver and nurture to my husband who was diagnosed with A.L.S. better known as "Lou Gerhig's Disease " In 1999 These are talismans that soothe and heal my soul. When I step Into my studio I am able to create pieces from my heart, my mind goes places that I've never been. I see colors and textures merging Into one and my little creations are born. It Is so rewarding. Each one of my pieces tell a story, a story I could only In vision In my mind.




Of course Kitty has to have her spot.
